CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN MODERN FORESTRY An Evaluation Report to Forestry Commission Scotland

 

This is a report on a pilot event held for Career Advisors and guidance teachers in South East Scotland, in November 2010.  The event was designed to be easily repeated by local Forest Education Initiative (FEI) Cluster Groups across Scotland, and to showcase a format for presenting the wide variety of career opportunities in modern forestry, in Scotland today.  The organisation and delivery of the event is described, and its evaluation recorded.  Suggested recommendations for taking things forward are listed.
