2 workshops designed to support you taking groups into the outdoors. These courses are for any practitioners working with children and young people.
Morning work shop : Practicalities of Getting Outside
In this workshop we will explore the basics of planning an outdoor session
and discuss some challenges and barriers you may face. We will learn how
to tie the essential knots to build weather proof shelters using tarpaulins
and discover the potential of taking your class to Loch of Blairs for outdoor

Afternoon work shop: Nature Connection Games & Activities
Connecting to nature is important for all of us. In this workshop we will
cover a range of activities and games aimed at helping ourselves and others
to understand the natural world in more depth. They form a set of fun tools
that help develop observation skills, memory, curiosity and more. They include some simple five-minute games that require no equipment, as well as
