Music in the Woods- Abriachan Forest Trust

Course information
The team at Abriachan Forest Trust will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to use wood in an outdoor setting to make several simple musical instruments. This will provide information about the nature of wood and how to use tools to create the instruments; as well as suggested follow-on games and activities which support the learning context across the curriculum.
This training session is for teachers, early years professionals, outdoor practitioners and anyone invovled in learning outdoors.
Please note that for accessing Abriachan follow instructions that will be sent out a week before the course- do not use satnav for the postcode please as it sometimes directs folk away off track!
What to bring
- Appropriate clothing (waterproofs- jacket and trousers, layers of clothing (merino wool recommended), warm footwear & socks. Gloves and a hat would also be useful. A packed lunch and something to drink (a flask with a hot drink is also recommended).
